Joint Editor
The joint editor provides a graphical way of setting the range of motion for a bone. Whenever the joint editor
is visible the range of motion will be rendered for the primary bone selection.
Controls
- Presets - allows you to select one of the preset joint constraints
- Pitch - enables rotation around the local x-axis
- Yaw - enables rotation around the local y-axis
- Start - specifies starting angle relative to the local x or y axis
- Range - specifies the range of rotation around the local x or y axis
- Apply When Selection Changes - when checked the settings will be applied if the selected bone changes
- OK - applies the settings to the bone and closes the dialog
- Apply - applies the settings to the bone
- Cancel - closes the dialog
- Commit Text - updates the rendered joint range with the text values typed into the start and range fields
- Copy - copies the constraint settings for the selected bone to the clipboard
- Paste - pastes the constraint settings stored on the clipboard to the selected bone
- Create Preset - creates a new preset with the entered name and using the current constraint settings
